The Whole Web Quivers

The gardener
Stanley Kunitz said,
“The universe is a continuous web.
Touch it at any point and the whole web quivers.”

Notice a sound. You think you are hearing it, but can you feel the sound vibrating your body?

What if our bodies were simply antennas? Receiving particular wavelengths.

We call these wavelengths seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting. We have learned to decipher these wavelengths into categories. And we call these categories "our" "senses."

But if we had a broad enough perspective, a zoomed-out lens, would we see that it's all wavelengths? That we are simply receivers and transmitters.

And everything we do affects everything and everyone else.
