The rhododendron buds are fat and prolific. (A rarity for me.) I can't help but wonder how many buds the deer will eat this winter. How many of those buds will survive into next spring's bloom?Yes, i've used many deer deterrents over the years, none of which entirely work. So, now i will put my faith in fate. Or, let's say, i'll put my faith in life itself to see how it unfolds.
You might call it laziness.
I might call it settling in and letting the wind blow through my branches, letting the sun shine through my leaves. Accepting the world as it really is.
